Have you seen the modified Jeep Wranglers that have been turned into funny looking pickup trucks? Jeep certainly did and are now they are making their own funny looking production trucks!
In late 2017 or early 2018 Jeep will be taking its first steps back into the pickup truck market since 1992 and the Jeep Comanche.
Some spy photos have been released of the trucks driving around Detroit, while they are covered in camouflage the basic shape can be seen and they look almost exactly like the custom ones Jeep fans have been making for years.
It appears to be trying to compete in the small size pickup market but with some heavy hitters to contend with like the GMC Canyon and the Soon-To-Be-Returning-To North-America Ford Ranger.
While the idea and incredibly reasonable starting price of $30,000 sound great, the odd shape and truck bed that looks as if it were welded onto an existing Wrangler is enough to hold a few folks back before making the choice to be the first person on their block with a piece Automotive History.
